- Accumulator
- a single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Arbitrage
- exploiting differences in odds across bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of outcome.
- Asian Handicap
- a handicap given to a team to level the match, expressed as a line that one side starts with a positive or negative goal deficit.
- Bankroll Management
- the practice of deciding how much money to risk and how to spread it across bets.
- Bet Slip
- the digital record that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a wager.
- Both Teams To Score
- a bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Card Betting
- betting on the number of yellow or red cards shown during a match.
- Cash Out
- a feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Corner Handicap
- a handicap applied to the number of corners a team earns, used to create balanced odds.
- Correct Score
- a bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- a format that shows the total amount returned per unit wagered, including the stake.
- Double Chance
- a bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win, draw, loss) in a single match.
- Dutching
- splitting a stake across multiple outcomes in the same event to ensure a profit no matter which one wins.
- Edge
- the advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- First Goal Scorer
- a wager on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Fractional Odds
- a format that displays the potential profit relative to the stake, shown as a fraction.
- Goal Line
- the total number of goals set by the bookmaker for a match, similar to over/under.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- a bet that combines the result at half-time and the final result.
- Hedging
- placing additional bets to reduce potential loss or secure a profit on an existing wager.
- In-Play Betting
- placing bets on a match while it is currently being played.
- Juice
- the commission or cut that a bookmaker takes from the odds, usually built into the lines.
- Moneyline
- a bet on which side will win the match, with odds adjusted for the chance of each outcome.
- Over/Under
- a wager on whether the total number of goals in a match will be above or below a set number.
- Stake
- the amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
